Hours Per Week Flat Rate:

$40•50 per hour (DOE) Who This Is For This position is ONLY for experienced, high-performing L-Level Technicians who can diagnose, repair, and flag hours without hand-holding. If you are not fully self-sufficient, this role is not a fit. We are a busy shop with a steady car count and are looking for a technician who can produce, diagnose accurately, and work efficiently . What You'll Be Doing Advanced diagnostics and repair across multiple vehicle systems Electrical, drivability, engine, suspension, and brake work Perform thorough inspections and recommend needed repairs Road test vehicles and verify completed work Communicate clearly with service advisors Maintain high productivity, accuracy, and shop standards Set the example for lower-level technicians Required — No Exceptions Proven L-Level technician experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently start to finish Own a complete professional tool set Valid driver's license and clean driving record Consistent producer in a flat-rate environment Professional attitude, reliability, and accountability Strongly Preferred ASE Certifications Experience in a high-volume independent shop Leadership or mentoring capability What We Offer Flat-rate pay: $40•50 per hour based on experience and production Consistent workflow and strong car count 50+ hours per week available Stable, well-run shop — no chaos, no micromanaging Long-term opportunity for the right technician Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays 50+ hours weekly How to Apply Apply through Indeed or apply in person at Clear Lake Auto Service.
