Duties Assist in diagnosing automotive issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics Support senior technicians with repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components Learn to perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements Gain experience working on diesel engines, powertrain components, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) Use hand tools and power tools safely to disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts Help with wheel alignments, vehicle inspections, and basic auto repairs as needed Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure efficient operations Experience Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience is a plus but not required; a strong mechanical aptitude is essential Basic knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and vehicle maintenance procedures is advantageous Exposure to GM vehicles or other major brands can be beneficial but is not mandatory Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about repairs and maintenance needs Demonstrated interest in automotive repair through coursework or personal projects is highly valued Willingness to learn new skills related to ADAS technology, diesel engine repair, auto body work, and alignment techniques Embark on a rewarding journey in automotive repair with us!
