AutoShop Recruiting has partnered with Top Line Car Care to hire an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician who can independently diagnose complex electrical, drivability, mechanical and intermittent vehicle concerns. Top Line needs someone who can independently diagnose complex electrical, drivability, mechanical and intermittent concerns—not simply retrieve codes and replace parts. Why Consider Top Line Car Care? $50 per flagged hour Monday-Friday schedule No regularly scheduled Saturdays 475 vehicles serviced in the past two months Work dispatched based on technician skill, workflow and availability In-house Autel diagnostic and key-programming equipment In-house OEM software programming You'll be expected to: Diagnose electrical, drivability and mechanical concerns Interpret scan data and test system operation Use wiring diagrams, meters, scopes and other testing equipment appropriately Develop logical diagnostic testing plans Confirm the root cause before recommending repairs Document test results and communicate findings clearly Complete advanced mechanical repairs Verify repairs before returning vehicles to customers Maintain productivity while performing accurate diagnostic work Top Line Car Care is Looking For Strong professional automotive repair experience Advanced electrical and drivability diagnostic ability Experience diagnosing difficult or intermittent vehicle concerns Ability to work independently without relying on parts replacement as a diagnostic strategy Professional tools appropriate for the position Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Clear communication and documentation skills ASE certifications are valued, but demonstrated diagnostic ability matters most.
