•35 per hour | Flat Rate with Guaranteed Hours Veracity Automotive is growing, and we're looking for a skilled and dependable B-Level Automotive Technician to join our team in Wylie, TX. This position is ideal for a technician who has moved beyond basic maintenance and can confidently handle most common repairs independently, while continuing to develop their diagnostic, electrical, and advanced repair skills. You'll work alongside experienced A-Level and Lead Technicians in a professional, team-oriented shop where quality workmanship, integrity, and continued growth are important. Position Overview As a B-Level Automotive Technician, you'll be an important part of our daily production team. You'll be expected to diagnose and complete a wide range of mechanical repairs with minimal supervision while continuing to build your diagnostic and electrical skills. You'll have access to experienced technicians for support, training, and guidance when a repair requires additional knowledge or experience. For the right technician, this position provides a clear path toward becoming an A-Level Technician . Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repair work on domestic and import vehicles Complete brake, suspension, steering, and cooling system repairs Perform general mechanical repairs with minimal supervision Diagnose common mechanical and drivability concerns Perform basic to intermediate diagnostic testing and troubleshooting Develop and apply electrical diagnostic skills Perform vehicle inspections and accurately identify needed repairs Use digital vehicle inspections (DVIs) to document findings and recommendations Use automotive tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment safely and properly Follow manufacturer repair procedures and shop quality standards Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians Complete repairs accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Take ownership of the quality and completeness of your repairs Qualifications 2-5 years of professional automotive repair experience Ability to perform most common repairs independently Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and general mechanical repairs Basic to intermediate diagnostic and electrical skills Comfortable using professional automotive tools and diagnostic equipment Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures Ability to follow manufacturer specifications and repair procedures ASE certification or formal automotive training is preferred, but not required Valid driver's license with a good driving record Dependable, punctual, and accountable Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Takes pride in quality workmanship and treating customers' vehicles with care Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continue developing technical skills What We Offer $25
