Job Description

The Young Automotive Group is Growing Again! Our Young Truck and Trailer dealership in Kaysville is seeking a skilled Service Advisor to add to our team. The Service Advisor will act as the liaison between customers and our service technicians, ensuring clear communication and outstanding service throughout the repair process. This position requires strong interpersonal skills , automotive knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
Schedules service appointments and obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair orders Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications Refers to service history
  • inspects vehicle
  • and recommends additional needed service Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts Checks on progress of repair throughout the day and contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time Explains cost and time requirements in detail and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed Keeps service department forms
  • menus and pricing guides up-to-date Explains completed work and all charges to customers Implements a quality control process to eliminate comebacks Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process
Qualifications:
Two years of related dealership experience and/or training preferred Sales skills & Commercial truck business experience Experience dealing with large fleets is a plus Clean driving record Able to pass background check and drug screen History of solid and successful employment Exceptional customer service skills Career minded and goal oriented Young Automotive Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
