RV Service Technician Creekside RV, LLC Salem, UT Job Details Full-time $22 - $32 an hour 2 days ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Gym membership Qualifications Customer communication Oil change High school diploma or GED Driver's License Service technician experience Full Job Description Job Overview We are in search of a skilled RV Service Technician to maintain and repair recreational vehicles at our service facility. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, documenting and resolving issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, HVAC, appliances, and other RV systems and components. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of RV systems, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities. Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable. Prior experience with automotive or RV body and paint work and/or automotive mechanics is a plus. Responsibilities The typical duties and responsibilities include: Inspect and diagnose issues with RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and hydraulic systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, bearing packs, tire rotations, battery swaps, brake inspections and winterizations. Repair or replace defective parts such as motors, fuses, switches, pumps, and other components. Perform specialized services such as refrigerator, air conditioner, generator and water heater repairs. Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and test vehicle components. Provide cost estimates for repairs and maintenance. Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory. Ensure that repairs meet manufacturer specifications and customer satisfaction. Document and take photos of all performed work and parts used for billing and inventory purposes. Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide cost estimates. Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards. Adhere to policies and procedures as well as safety protocols and regulations when performing repair work. Experience Proven 3+ years' work experience as an RV Service Technician or similar role. Knowledge of RV systems including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment Ability to lift heavy objects and work under various weather conditions. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license.
