Our service department plays a critical role in ensuring vehicles meet dealership standards before they are offered for sale. About the role Parkline Motors is seeking an ASE Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicle makes and models while ensuring repairs are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced dealership environment. What you'll do Perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models Conduct vehicle inspections and identify recommended repairs Diagnose electrical, mechanical, drivability, suspension, steering, brake, and engine-related concerns Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake service, suspension repairs, and fluid services Document repair findings and recommendations accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure timely vehicle turnaround Operate shop equipment safely and follow all workplace safety procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Current ASE Certification required Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience performing repairs on multiple vehicle makes and models Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair software Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license required Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position Monday through Friday with some Saturdays as needed On-site role at Parkline Motors in South Salt Lake, UT Work is performed in an automotive service shop with regular standing, lifting, bending, and use of shop equipment Compensation $25.00
