In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your ability to communicate clearly, estimate accurately, and upsell services will help maximize shop productivity while building lasting customer relationships. This position offers a fast-paced, rewarding environment where your automotive expertise and customer service skills can truly shine. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns to determine service needs. Prepare detailed repair estimates using estimating software and communicate options effectively to clients. Explain recommended services such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire service, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs. Upsell additional services by highlighting benefits and explaining the value of recommended repairs or maintenance. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services. Manage service writing tasks accurately, including documenting customer requests and vehicle diagnostics. Handle cash transactions and process payments securely while maintaining accurate records. Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding vehicle status, repair progress, and additional recommendations. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems to assess repairs precisely. Promote excellent customer service by addressing questions professionally and ensuring a positive experience. Experience Automotive service advisor background preferred; familiarity with auto estimating and service management systems is a plus. Experience with Tekmetric is a plus. Demonstrated ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of various automotive systems including transmissions, air brakes, shocks & struts, tires, and oil change procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed.
