In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency. Your mechanical skills and passion for automotive excellence will contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and electrical components. We value proactive problem-solving and a commitment to quality in every repair. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul mechanical systems such as engines (including diesel), transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, shocks & struts, and brake systems to restore optimal vehicle function. Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools efficiently for repairs and part replacements. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service experience. Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with industry standards. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Expertise in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, and auto body repair. Skilled in diesel engine repair, heavy equipment mechanics, and powertrain diagnostics. Proficiency in automotive schematics interpretation and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; experience working in the automotive repair industry is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Ability to perform precise alignment work on suspension systems including shocks & struts; brake repair; tire service; oil changes; and general vehicle maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools. Customer service orientation with clear communication skills to explain technical issues effectively.
