Compensation:
$84,000 guarantee $75 per flag hour
Schedule:
5 day work week Monday to Friday only 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Master Automotive Mechanic Job Responsibilities:
Identify mechanical problems, either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment. Perform tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensure that all critical parts are examined. Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups. Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and systems, such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts. Perform further tests, which may include test driving the vehicle, to ensure repairs are completed correctly.
Preferred Experience:
Highly skilled at diagnosing very challenging electronics and drivability including ADAS, self-driving, and hybrid systems. Minimum of 6 years of direct automotive technician experience.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds via team lifting. Good close and far vision ability to inspect the vehicle and drive. Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed. Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections. Ability to hear subtle sounds in engines or components to diagnose issues, or to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.
