Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, to keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently. Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues, such as engine troubles, electrical malfunctions, and transmission problems, using advanced diagnostic equipment and procedures. Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and develop accurate repair estimates for customers. Utilize technical manuals and online resources to stay up-to-date with the latest automotive repair methods and technologies. Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to prioritize and efficiently complete repair orders. Ensure all repairs and services are performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures. Provide exceptional customer service, explaining repairs to customers, addressing their concerns, and offering maintenance advice to enhance the longevity of their vehicles.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of formal automotive technician training program preferred. Proven work experience in a dealership environment. Strong technical and mechanical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues. Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and tools. Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and parts. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Valid driver's license and safe driving record. ASE Certifications are a HUGE plus!
