$18.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience McCarthy Tire Service is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our Culpeper, VA team. We're looking for a skilled and dependable technician who takes pride in quality work and puts safety and customer service first. What We're Looking For At least 1 year of experience servicing automobiles and light trucks Valid Virginia State Inspection License required Valid driver's license Own tools Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations, balancing, and tire replacement. Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues. Replace parts and components as needed. Perform Virginia State Safety Inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety requirements. Conduct test drives and verify vehicle performance. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Maintain shop equipment, tools, and inventory. Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
