About the Role As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the peak performance and safety of our heavy-duty machinery and ground support equipment. Your expertise in diagnostics and repair will be critical in minimizing downtime and maintaining the reliability of our operational fleet. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive maintenance schedules to guarantee equipment dependability and operational readiness. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and hydraulic system failures within strict timeframes. Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and illustrated parts catalogs to perform precise repairs. Document all maintenance activities and conduct rigorous inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, scanners, and meters to identify and correct mechanical issues. Manage multiple repair tasks simultaneously, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project deadlines. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in diesel engine mechanics, fluid systems, and specialized tool usage. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Valid driver's license and possession of a personal set of basic hand tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle conflicting priorities. Basic to intermediate computer literacy for record-keeping and diagnostic software. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a heavy equipment or industrial maintenance environment. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair sophisticated hydraulic systems. Experience working with heavy-duty diesel power plants and related hardware.
