Fleet Technician - Part-Time 315 Logistics | Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP)

$19.00/hour
Schedule:
Part-Time | 5 days per week
Hours:
9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (typically)
Weekend Availability:
Required - must be available for at least one weekend day each week Position Summary 315 Logistics is seeking a reliable, hands-on Fleet Technician to support the daily maintenance and readiness of our Amazon delivery vehicle fleet. This position is responsible for completing routine fleet tasks and basic maintenance to help ensure vehicles are safe, clean, properly maintained, and ready for daily routes. Key Responsibilities Perform daily fleet maintenance and readiness checks. Check tire tread and tire condition; assist with tire changes when needed. Check vehicle fluids, including coolant and windshield washer fluid. Perform bulb/light checks and other basic vehicle inspections. Remove debris or objects from tires and identify potential safety concerns. Assist with basic parts replacement and minor maintenance repairs. Clean and prepare fleet vehicles for operation. Safely move, stage, valet, and organize vehicles as needed. Transport vehicles to repair facilities or other designated locations when assigned. Document vehicle damage and assist with fleet inventory and record keeping. Complete assigned tasks through the company's communication platform. Provide clear updates, photos, videos, and notes documenting completed work or identified issues. Work closely with the Fleet Supervisor and other Fleet Team members. Complete additional fleet-related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Hands-on and mechanically/technically inclined. Comfortable performing basic vehicle maintenance and repairs. Reliable performer with reliable transportation who is punctual, and able to work independently. Able to work efficiently with a sense of urgency during the morning fleet preparation period. Comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions. Able to safely move and operate fleet vehicles. Detail-oriented and able to recognize and communicate vehicle safety concerns. A strong team player who follows direction and Fleet Program procedures. Important Requirements Candidates must be willing to successfully complete: Background check Drug screening Motor vehicle/driving record check Opportunity for Additional Hours This is currently a part-time Fleet Technician position, approximately 15 hours per week . Additional hours and scheduling opportunities may be available for employees who are interested in becoming a Delivery Associate (Driver) with 315 Logistics and delivering Amazon packages.
