Job Description
Carter Myers Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our customer-focused Automotive department. In this on-site role, you will diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and complete detailed repair orders using modern diagnostic tools. You'll collaborate closely with service advisors and teammates to deliver accurate, timely work while ensuring a positive customer experience. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks on customer vehicles Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently to dealership and OEM standards Communicate clearly with service advisors about findings, timelines, and recommendations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all safety procedures Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technologies Support a customer-focused experience aligned with Carter Myers Automotive Group values Required Skills Automotive diagnostics Engine repair and maintenance Brake systems service Electrical system troubleshooting HVAC (heating & A/C) repair Suspension and steering repair Use of scan tools and diagnostic equipment Reading repair orders and service manuals Vehicle inspections and safety checks Documentation in dealer management systems
