Experienced Tire and Alignment Technician Tinney Chevrolet GMC is seeking an experienced Tire and Alignment Technician to join our service team in Lynchburg, Virginia. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate must be able to step into the role and confidently perform tire replacement, suspension repairs, wheel alignments, and Virginia State Safety Inspections. Responsibilities Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace tires Diagnose tire wear, vibration, and handling concerns Perform two-wheel and four-wheel alignments Diagnose and repair steering and suspension systems Replace shocks, struts, ball joints, tie rods, control arms, and related components Perform Virginia State Safety Inspections Install and service TPMS sensors Conduct accurate vehicle inspections and document findings Communicate recommended repairs to the service advisor Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer standards Required Qualifications Professional experience replacing and servicing tires Experience diagnosing and repairing steering and suspension systems Experience performing wheel alignments Current Virginia State Safety Inspector license Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail Dependable attendance and a professional attitude Ability to safely operate lifts, tire machines, alignment equipment, and other shop equipment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Full-time employment Benefits package Paid training and advancement opportunities Modern equipment and a professional work environment Supportive management and an established customer base If you are an experienced technician who takes pride in accurate, high-quality work, we would like to speak with you.
