Job Description
$30-$50/hr | Monday-Friday | Climate-Controlled Shop | Guaranteed Minimum Pay We're looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic who can turn wrenches, troubleshoot problems, and get quality work out the door. If you've spent your career in an independent repair shop, dealership, fleet maintenance operation, or similar professional repair environment , we want to hear from you. This is a full-time position with a busy independent repair shop in Manassas, VA. You'll work Monday-Friday in a heated and air-conditioned shop with a steady flow of work. We offer a 30-hour weekly minimum guarantee or turned hours, whichever is greater. We're looking for someone comfortable handling a wide range of mechanical repair work, including: Brakes Steering and suspension Wheel bearings and hubs Drivetrain and driveline repairs General mechanical repairs Preventive maintenance and service Diagnosing common vehicle concerns Scan-tool diagnostics Light electrical troubleshooting Vehicle inspections and identifying needed repairs You do not need to specialize in one manufacturer or vehicle line. ASE certifications are not required. We're less interested in what your current job title is and more interested in what you can actually do in the bay.
