Job Description
Experienced Automotive Technician $30-$50/hr | Monday-Friday | Climate-Controlled Shop | Guaranteed Minimum Pay We're looking for an experienced, productive Automotive Technician who can come in and work independently from day one. This position is for someone with professional shop experience who is comfortable taking assigned work, diagnosing vehicle concerns and completing repairs correctly without constant supervision. This is a full-time position in Manassas, VA with a 30-hour weekly minimum guarantee or turned hours, whichever is greater. You'll work Monday-Friday in a heated and air-conditioned shop with a steady flow of work. ASE certifications are not required. We're interested in proven experience, mechanical ability and what you can actually do in the bay. What You'll Work On General automotive diagnosis and repair Brakes, steering and suspension Drivetrain and mechanical repairs Check-engine-light and drivability concerns Scan-tool diagnostics Light electrical diagnosis and troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Vehicle inspections and identifying needed repairs What We're Looking For Proven professional automotive repair experience Ability to diagnose vehicle concerns and complete repairs independently Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Confident with brake, steering and suspension repairs Comfortable using scan tools and diagnostic equipment Experience with light electrical diagnosis Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality Own professional automotive tools appropriate for general repair and diagnostic work Valid driver's license Experience from dealerships, independent repair shops and fleet operations is welcome. This is not an entry-level, apprentice or lube-tech position.
