Job Description Smith Auto Service, Inc., a family-owned automotive repair shop in Mechanicsville located near Rt. 360 and Rt. 295, is seeking an experienced general mechanic who holds a valid Virginia State Inspector license. This is a full-time position that operates Monday through Friday and offers a stable schedule in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package that includes flat-rate commission-based pay with annual earnings typically between $60,000 and $120,000, comprehensive health benefits, paid vacation, holiday pay, and reimbursement for work-related certifications. Requirements:

Applicants MUST possess a valid Virginia State Inspector license. We prefer applicants with at least four years of hands-on automotive service experience, though exceptional candidates with slightly less experience but strong technical skills and a positive work ethic will also be considered.
