Our mobile technicians offer excellent customer service and convenience by servicing our client's vehicle needs at their location. Be the face of Magic City Ford's Mobile Service as we build and grow this new service in our community, developing new and trusting relationships. Essential Responsibilities Provide an exceptional customer experience that reflects the dealership's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Complete routine maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, battery replacement, brake inspections, and other mobile-service repairs. Perform recall campaigns, and other approved field service actions when applicable. Accurately document inspections findings, maintenance requirements , parts used, and labor performed. Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle concerns clearly and professionally to customers. Provide customers with updates regarding vehicle inspection status, required services, and any additional concerns identified. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional mobile service vehicle and work area. Follow Ford service procedures, dealership policies, OSHA requirements, and all applicable safety regulations. Maintain current knowledge of Ford vehicles, technology, and maintenance procedures. Coordinate with the dealership's service department when repairs require shop equipment, additional technicians, or services that cannot be completed in the field. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous automotive technician experience required. Ford dealership experience or Ford specific training preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to use automotive diagnostic scan tools and electronic service information systems. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver automotive parts and equipment. Must be comfortable working outdoors and traveling to customer locations. Ford certifications preferred ASE certifications are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry automotive parts, tools, and equipment. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely perform repairs in residential, workplace, parking-lot, and other mobile-service environments.
