Duties Assist with disassembly, cleaning, and preparation of vehicles for restoration projects Support technicians in performing basic repairs such as tire changes, fluid top-offs, and part replacements Use hand tools and power tools safely to remove or install automotive parts and accessories Help with vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance needs Participate in heavy lifting tasks to move engines, body panels, or other large components safely Aid in the use of automotive electrical systems and mechanical systems repair under supervision Contribute to auto restoration tasks by supporting the team in restoring vehicles to their original condition or custom specifications Skills Basic knowledge of standard passenger car operation and maintenance procedures Mechanical aptitude with understanding of automotive parts, accessories, and systems Familiarity with automotive tire change procedures and vehicle inspections Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment safely and effectively Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair processes Customer service skills for interacting professionally with team members and clients when needed Basic auto estimating skills are a plus for understanding repair scope and parts ordering Willingness to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required in auto restoration projects Prior mechanic experience or auto restoration exposure is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided This energetic role invites passionate individuals eager to develop their automotive expertise while contributing to exciting restoration projects.
