Job Overview M-F 8am-5pm weekends off We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic/Certified Safety Inspector and Service Advisors to join our team at our Waynesbpro and Staunton locations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with customer service excellence, ensuring vehicles are maintained, repaired, and inspected to the highest standards. You will play a vital role in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, conducting safety inspections, and guiding customers through their automotive needs with professionalism. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running smoothly. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and auto repair equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Carry out certified safety inspections on various vehicle types, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations. Advise customers on necessary repairs or maintenance services while providing exceptional service and building trust. Assist with automotive projects or heavy lifting tasks that require physical strength and mechanical skill. Maintain detailed records of all services performed, parts used, and inspection results for transparency and quality assurance. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong foundation in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with automotive repair techniques and processes is a plus. Hands-on experience working with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Knowledge of automotive service procedures, safety standards, and inspection protocols essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine repair or restoration tasks. Previous certification as a safety inspector or relevant mechanic certifications preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided for the right candidate. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent communication skills to effectively advise customers. Pay:
