What you'll do Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and transmission. Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing faulty components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical wiring. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately troubleshoot electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct vehicle maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and inspections to ensure optimal performance. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs while adhering to safety standards. Diagnose complex mechanical problems on Ford vehicles and other makes/models with precision and clarity. Collaborate with team members to estimate repair costs accurately (auto estimating) and communicate findings effectively to customers. Qualifications Proven dealership or mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS technology, and automotive wiring diagram interpretation. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and power tools essential for troubleshooting and repairs. Mechanical knowledge spanning powertrain components, vehicle suspension system repair, vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and general vehicle maintenance. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics confidently while applying best practices in vehicle systems diagnostics. Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism. Experience working with Ford vehicles or similar brands is a plus but not mandatory.
