Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team at a locally owned repair shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, and repairing automotive vehicles. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge along with the ability to interpret diagrams. The Mechanic will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards, contributing to the overall efficiency of our states regulations. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automobiles, including electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills. Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as multimeters, and other diagnostic tools. Conduct welding tasks, including welding exhausts, as needed for repairs. Follow safety protocols related to automotive systems, scissor lifts, and other industrial machinery. Participate in training programs to stay current with industry standards and technical advancements. Skills Proven experience in automotive maintenance within a diagnostic environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC, welding ( welding preferred), electrical systems, and general automotive experience. Experience working with field service teams in a garage setting. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or internal teams. Strong troubleshooting abilities combined with analytical thinking skills. Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial equipment operation including scissor lifts and. Effective communication skills in English for technical documentation and team collaboration. Military background or experience is considered an asset due to discipline and technical training background. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute significantly to our manufacturing operations through expert maintenance and repair skills. Candidates should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of industrial mechanics combined with practical experience across various systems to ensure operational excellence.
Pay:
$24.00 - $35.00 per hour
