Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Fleet Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing our diverse fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, suspension work, and hydraulic system servicing to prevent downtime. Fabricate parts or modify equipment using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet operational needs. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs performed; ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and perform wheel alignments or shocks & struts replacements to enhance vehicle handling and safety. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive heavy equipment mechanics background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics. Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; capable of customizing or repairing equipment components. Strong knowledge of transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and HVAC systems. Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working with power tools or performing tire service; attention to detail in alignment and vehicle maintenance tasks.
