Dale E. Percy is looking for a heavy truck Mechanic to maintain, repair, and keep our fleet moving. You will be working on dump trucks, tractor trailers, and sometimes heavy equipment like excavators. We also have pickups and smaller dump trucks. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy trucks, focusing on mechanical systems such as transmissions, air brakes, and hydraulics. Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire services. Utilize hand tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues. Collaborate with team members and the truck drivers to ensure efficient workflow and problem solving to keep everyone safe and on time. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Proficient in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience. Able to work on your own and with others. We work as a team. Ability to perform heavy lifting. Welding ability is a plus.
