Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, experience with automotive diagnostics, and is proficient with various automotive repair tools and systems. This person will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure top performance, quality service, and safety for our customers. You will also have a chance to work on different vehicle models for both individual and fleet customers in a professional environment with a good-natured group. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues across vehicle electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems. Repair or replace components related to suspension systems, and vehicle electrical systems. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and system inspections. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete automotive repairs accurately. Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Maintain detailed records of services performed to ensure proper documentation of all work orders. Qualifications Proven experience as an automotive technician. Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures including vehicle maintenance, system diagnostics, and component replacement. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and electronic systems troubleshooting. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and understanding of vehicle systems such as powertrain, suspension, electrical wiring, and transmissions. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately. Experience working with trucks and vans in order to service fleet vehicles. Excellent mechanical skills combined with strong service abilities. Displays qualities of a team player. Valid driver's license and basic hand tools required.
