While equipment repair experience is a plus it is not a requirement, we have a number of techs that have come from other fields and transitioned into equipment techs very successfully so if you're looking for a change, we have an opportunity for you to join our fast growing company. As a Road Service Technician, you will efficiently plan your travel, organize customer appointments, and ensure professional follow-up on service calls. Do you enjoy being on the move, tackling a variety of technical challenges, and working directly at customer sites? This position will allow you to put your skills to work while benefiting from the trust and support of an experienced team. What You'll Do Visit customers throughout your assigned territory to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Efficiently organize your workweek and travel schedule based on customer needs and priorities. Represent Liftow professionally and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Ensure equipment is returned to service quickly and safely. Your Technical Expertise You will work on a variety of equipment, including: Electric and internal combustion forklifts Walkie stackers Electric tractors/tuggers Tow and transport vehicles Other material handling equipment You will be responsible for: Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues. Using specialized diagnostic tools, software, and technical manuals. Reading and interpreting electrical and wiring schematics. Performing high-quality repairs while adhering to safety standards. Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment. The Ideal Candidate We would like to meet individuals who: ✔ Have 3 to 5 years of experience as a forklift mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, truck mechanic, automotive technician, or road vehicle mechanic. ✔ Are known for their independence, resourcefulness, and organizational skills. ✔ Enjoy managing their schedule and effectively prioritizing service calls. ✔ Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ✔ Deliver professional and courteous customer service. ✔ Communicate clearly with customers and team members. ✔ Demonstrate a strong commitment to responsibility and safety. ✔ Hold a valid driver's license. Experience with Toyota products is considered an asset. The salary will depend on each candidate's experience and qualifications.
