Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technician to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles meet quality standards before they reach the customer. Your expertise will help guarantee that each vehicle is thoroughly inspected, properly maintained, and safely ready for road use. Duties Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, including mechanical systems, electrical components, and body integrity, to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Perform automotive tire changes, wheel alignments, and basic auto body repairs as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks on vehicles. Execute vehicle maintenance procedures such as fluid checks, brake inspections, and engine diagnostics to confirm optimal performance. Assist in auto estimating processes by documenting repairs needed and communicating findings clearly. Verify the functionality of automotive electrical systems and mechanical components during inspection processes. Support vehicle restoration projects by performing heavy lifting and mechanical system repairs with precision. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and automotive parts and accessories knowledge. Hands-on experience with vehicle inspections, auto estimating, and auto body repair is highly desirable. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, power tools, hand tools, and general vehicle maintenance techniques. Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about repair needs and vehicle status.
