Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care and repair services. In this role, you will leverage your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Whether working on gasoline engines, diesel engines, transmissions, or electrical systems, you will play a key role in keeping our customers' vehicles running smoothly. This position offers an engaging environment where hands-on skills meet innovative diagnostic technology to deliver top-tier automotive service. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems including powertrain, suspension, electrical, and transmission components Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing worn or damaged parts, including engines, transmissions, axles, and suspension systems Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Conduct wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to ensure proper handling and safety standards are met Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools efficiently to complete repairs with precision Follow dealership or service center procedures for auto estimating, parts ordering, and documenting repairs accurately in service records Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high quality standards and customer satisfaction Skills Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes and customer service excellence Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical wiring, and diesel engines Proficiency in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues Experience working with automotive diagnostic tools and software to identify faults quickly and accurately Skilled in vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension system repairs Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance devices safely and effectively Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; familiarity with auto estimating software is advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle diagnostics and repairs Strong communication skills for providing clear updates to customers regarding repair needs and timelines Join us as an Automotive Technician where your expertise fuels our commitment to delivering reliable vehicle solutions. $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
