Job Summary Seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle electrical, AC , heating and hydraulic systems. Experience in vehicle rehabilitation, body work and painting is also valued. This position offers opportunity for experienced professional who is productive, well organized and accountable while enjoying the benefits and flexibility of setting their own schedule. Veterans, older and experienced parties are also encouraged to inquire. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain vehicle electrical, hydraulic, heating, AC systems and monitoring systems. Conduct vehicle inspections Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools efficiently to complete repairs. Follow schematics and technical materials and guidelines accurately during repairs consistent with prevailing technologies. Communicate clearly about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations Maintain work logs and service records, complete tasks accurately, and ensure work complies with quality standards. Requirements Proven experience with a documentable background in vehicle diagnostics and repair. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems . Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment. Ability to repair vehicle systems Familiarity with vehicles and light truck platforms or similar with experience in diagnostic softwares. Reasonable service skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical information Capabilities in welding, vehicle body work or advanced mechanical techniques is advantageous. Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
