Summary We are seeking a Fleet Manager for our Emergency Services team located in Fife, WA. In this critical role, you will ensure the reliability and safety of our ambulance fleet, contributing directly to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care during emergencies. Responsibilities The Fleet Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient mechanical integrity of the ambulance fleet. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing the preventative maintenance program and maintaining the ability to respond to emergency repairs necessary to keep the fleet safe and well running. This supervisor has responsibility for the reduction and/or elimination of critical emergency failures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Assist in implementing and maintaining policies that are in place to increase operational efficiencies. 2. Develop, oversee, and review the Company Preventative Maintenance Program. Supervise and schedule the internal mechanics and the external work done on all Metro West vehicles. 3. Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs following the preventative maintenance schedule. Perform emergency repairs when necessary, including road calls. 4. Maintain complete records of all maintenance and repairs for all vehicles. 5. Maintain an adequate stock of parts for emergency and scheduled repairs. 6. Interact and communicate with Ambulance Department Supervisors to ensure vehicles are brought in for service within the allotted time. 7. Communicate with Ambulance Department Supervisors through approved means about vehicle problems, their repairs, and ultimate disposition. 8. Maintain shop equipment. 9. Contact and contract with outside repair facilities for repairs not done in the internal shop. 10. Be available "on-call" for emergency situations relating to maintenance. 11. Other duties as assigned. Starting salary depends on experience, qualifications, and tools for the position.
