Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrains. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently. Repair or replace components such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), diesel engines, or wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to execute repairs with precision. Conduct vehicle inspections to assess safety, mechanical condition, and compliance with manufacturer standards. Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers or service advisors. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures. Expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation. Knowledge of ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, and vehicle maintenance best practices. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle types including GM vehicles and diesel engines. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Experience working with transmissions, powertrains, and automotive electrical systems. Excellent customer service skills coupled with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
