Overview Join our dynamic team at Olympia Mazda as a Master/Senior Level Automotive Technician and become a vital part of our high-performing automotive service department. In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. Repair and overhaul complex powertrain components including transmissions, engines, and automotive electrical systems with precision and efficiency. Conduct maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, suspension repairs (shocks & struts), brake repairs, and wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs on diverse vehicle models, including GM vehicles. Diagnose and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, auto body issues, and auto estimating tasks with attention to detail. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems repair needs. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring a positive experience for every customer. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry at a master or senior technician level. Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, transmission repair, suspension systems repair, and diesel engine repair. Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, auto body repair, wheel alignment procedures, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair, and powertrain maintenance. Familiarity with heavy equipment mechanics or diesel mechanics is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of schematics reading and interpreting technical manuals for complex vehicle systems. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repairs. $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
