Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Powersports Technician - II to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and other recreational equipment. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently, providing them with the thrill of adventure and reliable performance. Duties Perform detailed diagnostics on powersports vehicles using automotive and electrical diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and overhaul engines, electrical systems, suspension components, brakes, and mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and mechanical assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake adjustments, and suspension servicing to ensure optimal performance. Reassemble vehicles after repairs while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, providing recommendations for vehicle care, and ensuring a positive service experience. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while documenting all repair activities thoroughly in service records. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background specializing in powersports or automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of engine systems, electrical diagnostics, suspension components, brake systems, and vehicle assembly. Hands-on experience with automotive engine system repair and all-terrain vehicle maintenance. Proficiency in using diagnostic software for automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and heavy lifting techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on vehicles or parts that require physical strength. Knowledge of welding techniques and suspension system repairs is a plus.
