The right candidate will have strong mechanical abilities and the desire to learn. The day-to-day duties include performing routine maintenance and repairs for customers. Hourly Pay Range:
$20.11 to $27.20 per hour
Target Hiring Range:
$20.11 to $23.65 per hour + eligibility to earn productivity bonuses up to $2.00 per hour. Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and by the dealership Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Perform routine maintenance and repairs Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed if additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Six months to one year of related experience or alternative training Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination Mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve Enjoy working in a dynamic environment A teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications At least 18 years of age Valid driver's license and clean driving record We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
