In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are running smoothly and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians with a passion for automotive repair and a commitment to excellence. You will work with advanced diagnostic tools, interpret automotive wiring diagrams, and perform complex repairs across various vehicle models, including GM vehicles and diesel engines. Your mechanical knowledge and technical proficiency will be vital in providing top-tier automotive service. Responsibilities Diagnose vehicle issues using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics, including electrical systems, powertrain, transmissions, suspension systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Perform repairs on vehicle transmission systems, powertrain components, suspension systems, and electrical wiring based on detailed schematics. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, wheel alignments, and vehicle system checks to ensure safety and performance. Repair or replace vehicle components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical issues within automotive electrical systems. Service diesel engines and perform complex repairs on vehicle transmission systems with precision. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician experience in an automotive repair environment. Strong familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and electronic control units (ECUs). Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures across various makes and models. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle suspension system repair, alignment procedures, and automotive electrical systems. Skilled in interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery efficiently.
