Summary We're looking for a self-motivated and tech-savvy Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks. As a key member of our team, you'll take pride in your work, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to keeping our trucks on the road. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and techniques. Repair hydraulic systems and components as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with our operations team to schedule maintenance and repairs, minimizing disruptions to our business Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repair activities. Assist in fabricating parts or modifications as required for vehicle enhancements. Utilize new software and technology to efficiently manage and track maintenance activities. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and shop, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Provide exceptional service, responding promptly to after-hours calls to ensure our trucks remain on the road Qualifications Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on fleet or automotive repair. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Familiarity with hydraulic systems is a plus but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of gas engines, transmissions, and brake systems - Isuzu NPR and GM Ability to read and interpret schematics related to vehicle systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Perferred Qualities Strong self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency Willingness to respond to after-hours calls and provide support as needed Pride in your work, with a focus on quality and attention to detail Self starter and thrives on routine with a mix of variety on a daily basis Strong use of computer, phone and apps.
