Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, brakes, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and steering components. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair and replace auto body parts when necessary, ensuring vehicle integrity and appearance are restored to factory specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to execute precise repairs on GM vehicles and other makes. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed for accurate auto estimating and customer communication. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong foundation in automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge. Expertise in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, and automotive electrical troubleshooting. Skilled in working with schematics for complex electronic systems within vehicles. Experience repairing diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, and performing engine overhauls. Familiarity with auto body repair techniques including welding and frame straightening. Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment safely and efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly to clients. Knowledge of tire service procedures including alignment adjustments and suspension diagnostics. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
