Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Mobile Mechanic to join our team and deliver exceptional automotive repair services directly at our clients' locations. As a Mobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, including light-duty and heavy-duty trucks, on-site at customer sites or designated locations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and other mechanical components. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical systems repair tools safely and effectively in the field. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical systems with precision. Repair or replace automotive components including auto body parts, auto estimating repairs, and auto electrical systems while maintaining high-quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction during on-site visits. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership settings preferred. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems repair. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmissions (including heavy equipment mechanics), powertrain components, suspension systems (including shocks & struts), brake repair, and wheel alignment. Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology and auto electrical systems is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools required for mobile service work. Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is a plus. Ability to work independently in various environments while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
