Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced automotive accessory installer or coatings applicator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with automotive mechanical systems and possess knowledge of using various tools to complete installations efficiently OR a desire to learn coatings application. The Accessories Technician position will be responsible for proper preparation and application of vehicle accessories. Key responsibilities also include reporting supply orders or concerns to management along with maintaining accurate records. In this role, you will need to effectively perform installations, modifications, and upfits on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics. We will train a qualified and motivated individual!

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain equipment and accessories (tonneau covers, steps, hitches, toppers, lighting, and more) according to specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components
• Apply Bedliner/Protective Coatings and Undercoating
• Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with installed parts
• Stay current with new techniques and product applications
• Ensure all installations meet safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

• Professional Customer Service Qualifications:

• Previous experience in automotive installation or a related field
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment assembly
• Familiarity with using an ohmmeter/voltmeter Nice to

Have Skills:

• MIG Welding
• Body work/repair
• Prior experience in welding, electrical work, carpentry, and other hands-on projects is helpful, we will train the right candidate!
