Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and fixing a variety of vehicle issues. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs. Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all repairs. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Skills Proven dealership experience is preferred. Proficiency in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus. Knowledge of air brake systems and diesel engine repair is beneficial. Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge. Experience with schematics, powertrain systems, alignment, suspension, shocks & struts, and tire service. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and auto body repair techniques. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and perform welding tasks as needed. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in auto estimating for GM vehicles is an advantage. A strong commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
