If you have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, one year of experience working on trailers and brakes, possess a valid and current driver's license, and own your own tools, this job could be a good fit for you. As a Trailer Mechanic, your typical day would include: Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing all XTRA Lease equipment as indicated on repair orders and consistent with XTRA Lease repair standards. Performing safety and legally required inspections (FHWA/BIT). Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
