$22- $26.00 / hour About Us Looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team. We need a versatile team member who enjoys a mix of indoor and outdoor work, from keeping our grounds looking sharp to handling light facility repairs and safely operating company vehicles. Position Summary The Maintenance & Grounds Technician will handle a variety of daily tasks, split between property landscaping, light building maintenance, and driving a company truck for material transport. The ideal candidate enjoys variety in their workday, works well independently, and prioritizes safety on the road and on the property.
Key Responsibilities Landscaping & Grounds:
trim bushes, edge walkways, clear weeds, and maintain clean outdoor spaces.
Light Maintenance:
Complete basic building repairs, paint walls, change lightbulbs, and handle minor plumbing or hardware fixes, assisting with tenant turnovers. •
Truck Operation:
Safely drive a company truck, pickup, flatbed, or dump trailer to transport materials, haul debris, or pick up supplies.
Seasonal Work:
Perform seasonal outdoor tasks, such as leaf removal fall cleanup, touchup winter snow shoveling, or salting walkways as needed (snow plowing and sidewalks are contracted out) spring cleanup.
Equipment Care:
Inspect and maintain basic tools and lawn equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers) to keep them in safe working order.
Required Qualifications Driver's License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
Familiarity with basic hand tools and standard outdoor power tools.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand or walk for long periods.
Reliability:
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow a daily checklist with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Experience driving trucks and trailers, bobcats and or tractors.
