Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Automotive Service Professional. As a Service Writer you will work daily with customers providing estimates and customer service as well as ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and parts management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage inventory, provide support to technicians, and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

We are seeking an Energetic, Self-Starting, Hard worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, computer skills and a passion for assisting customers. This role involves providing customer service, estimating needed repairs and sales, providing support to technicians, managing parts and inventory, data entry, preparing paperwork, . Duties Ability to use multiple computer programs simultaneously Provide information about products and services including estimates to customers Manage the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of parts orders. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking automotive parts. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their vehicle's needs and inquiries. Collaborate with service technicians to identify necessary parts for repairs and maintenance. Utilize auto estimating software to accurately assess parts requirements for various automotive services. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory levels. Proficiency in data entry and computer systems Answer incoming customer calls and emails promptly and professionally. Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills Develop relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of parts. Monitor industry trends to stay informed about new products and technologies in the automotive sector. Ability to lift 50 pounds Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent service delivery Experience Proven experience in automotive service is preferred. Strong background in customer service within the automotive industry. Familiarity with automotive sales processes and effective communication skills. Experience with automotive diagnostics and service writing is highly desirable. Knowledge of cash handling procedures is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
