Werks Autosport is looking for an Automotive Technician who genuinely loves cars and takes pride in doing things the right way. We're a shop built by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. On any given week, that might mean maintaining someone's daily driver, diagnosing a difficult mechanical problem, installing performance parts, or working on a high-performance or exotic car that someone has spent years dreaming about owning. We take the responsibility that comes with that seriously. At Werks, we don't want technicians who simply replace whatever part the computer tells them to. We're looking for someone who understands how cars work, enjoys figuring out why something isn't working, and appreciates the craftsmanship involved in making a vehicle better than when it arrived.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

The work here is intentionally varied. You'll perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, work on brakes and suspension systems, install aftermarket and performance components, and help with the kinds of projects that make working at an enthusiast shop interesting. Some days you'll be repairing a daily-driven European car. Other days you may find yourself underneath something considerably more exotic. Either way, we expect the same level of care.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone with professional automotive repair experience and strong mechanical fundamentals. European vehicle experience is highly valued, particularly experience with brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, and other European performance vehicles. More importantly, we want someone who: Can diagnose rather than simply replace parts Takes pride in clean, organized work Pays attention to the small details Is comfortable tackling challenging repairs Understands that modified and performance vehicles sometimes require creative problem-solving Respects customers' vehicles regardless of their value Works well with a small team Continually wants to become a better technician Performance, tuning, fabrication, aftermarket, or exotic-car experience is a major plus.

THE SHOP

Werks Autosport isn't a dealership and we're not trying to become one. We're a small team of automotive enthusiasts who happen to make a living doing what we love. Our work ranges from routine maintenance and mechanical repairs to suspension, performance modifications, aftermarket installations, and engine and transmission tuning. We care about the cars that come through our doors because we understand what they mean to the people who own them. And we'd rather hire someone who shares that mentality than simply fill a bay.

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday No Saturdays. No Sundays.

COMPENSATION

Competitive compensation based on experience, capabilities, and what you can bring to the shop. We're willing to pay appropriately for a technician who can diagnose difficult problems, produce excellent work, and operate independently.
