Job Description

Trailer Body Repair Technician Overview We are hiring for all three locations, Green Bay, Neenah, and Caledonia. Join our team as a Trailer Body Repair Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and restoring heavy-duty trailers to optimal condition! In this role, you will utilize your structural repair expertise, welding skills, and fabrication knowledge to repair, refurbish, and restore trailers efficiently and to the highest standards. The work will be varied as you work on the interior and mechanical portions of the trailer as well. Your hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude will ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable, and ready for the road. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for skilled technicians. Duties Perform detailed body repairs on trailers, including sheet metal work, dent removal, and structural reinforcement using MIG welding, soldering, and other fabrication repair techniques Utilize welding equipment, power tools, sanding tools, and paint spraying systems to restore trailer exteriors and interiors Install parts including lighting components and other trailer accessories with precision and care Execute heavy lifting safely while handling large trailer components during repairs or assembly processes Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair moving parts of the trailer. Maintain detailed records of repair procedures, parts used, and work performed to ensure quality control and accountability Qualifications Proven experience working as a body technician or in heavy vehicle repair environments; dealership experience is highly valued Strong proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair techniques, and fabrication repair methods Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive structural repair processes Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and welding equipment effectively Excellent customer service skills paired with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods; safety awareness is essential
Comps and Benefits:
Pay:
$22-$29/hr based on experience
