Miller Auto - Omro, WI Miller Auto is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team. We are a family-owned and operated automotive business serving Omro and the surrounding communities, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a professional, team-oriented shop. This is not an entry-level position . Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience and be comfortable diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles. What You'll Be Doing As an Automotive Technician at Miller Auto, you will perform a variety of diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work, including: Advanced vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting Engine performance and drivability diagnosis Electrical and electronic system diagnosis Brake system repair Steering and suspension repair Heating and air conditioning diagnosis and repair Engine and transmission-related repairs Preventative maintenance Inspections and repair recommendations Repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles Opportunities to work with hybrid and electric vehicles Occasional classic and specialty vehicle repairs We work on a wide variety of vehicles — from classics to current — and no two days are exactly the same. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 3 years of professional automotive technician experience Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities Ability to accurately diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts Experience using professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment Ability to read wiring diagrams and service information Strong attention to detail Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently while also being part of a team A strong work ethic and pride in performing repairs correctly Valid driver's license ASE certifications are a plus, but real-world experience, diagnostic ability, and quality workmanship are more important to us than certifications alone.
