Join our team and become part of a legacy that is more than 100 years in the making! Join the Dahl Automotive team at our Reconditioning Center in Onalaska, WI as a Used Vehicle Technician! You get guaranteed work for internal repairs to get our used cars on the lot ready for sale. This is a non-guest-facing location and you will have plenty to do to earn a solid income for you and your family. The pay range for this position is $62,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience, productivity and certifications! This is a Monday-Friday position - no weekends! Responsibilities Perform thorough inspections on vehicles, and accurately suggest and execute repair work. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Reconditioning Manager about any additional services needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. Qualifications Previous technician experience ASE Certification preferred A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment Excellent customer service skills Basic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality Enjoy working in a dynamic environment Ability to collaborate effectively Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required Valid driver's license and clean driving record Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
