Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving issues across various vehicle systems. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality workmanship on all automotive services. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks such as alignment, welding, and general automotive repair. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately. Maintain detailed records of services performed, including auto estimating for customer transparency. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and GM vehicles. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, preferably with dealership experience or service technician experience. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including familiarity with diesel engine repair and powertrain systems. Ability to work with various automotive electrical systems and perform necessary repairs. Experience with alignment procedures and the use of related equipment. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with clients. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive service are a plus. Willingness to continue professional development through training opportunities in the field of automotive technology.
